高中英文教师李淑敏（余香凝 饰）一直努力教学，却发现学生对她的课程始终兴致缺缺，反而热衷到补习班上课，视补教天王K.K.Ho（王浩信 饰）为偶像。李淑敏决定潜入补习班一探究竟，在课程中被KK发现，两人针锋相对，大吵一架，但竟激起KK对她的好奇心及好感，送花道歉之外更展开追求。 李淑敏对学生热衷补习颇不以为然，更对补习班充满偏见，她还发现KK任教的补习学校校长就是自己的爸爸李龙基（吴岱融 饰），她小时候认为父亲严厉的言语，是间接害死母亲的凶手，父女亲情淡薄，一见面就吵架。 然而KK的出现，让李淑敏改变对补习的看法，也开始用新的方式教学，患有心脏病的她，因过劳而昏倒，但她仍为了学生们重要的文凭检测强行出院，让父亲非常担心，就在一个大雨天中，一场意外骤然而至，让他们都措手不及。

The hotel owner, Tian, is a young and hot-headed businessman. They had actually met each other before and they had bad impression of each other. When Poon found out that Tian was the hotel owner he immediately refused to work there. However, Tian challenged him to do the job and, not wanting to be looked down at, he decided to accept the position. Tian fell in love with Poon's food once he tasted it but didn't want to lose his face, so he told Poon that the food was horrible. These two always fought when they see each other. But after some time, their daily spat grew into something special.
